Another Cucumber Salad?!?

Yes, we published a cucumber salad recipe last week. Which recipe do you like better?

Cucumber Salad


1 pound cucumbers, sliced very thin

1.5 tsp sugar

1.5 tsp kosher or sea salt

2.5 tbsp red wine vinegar

1 leek, sliced thin (white parts only) or 1/2 onion

Fresh herbs, such as basil or garlic chives


Grab a bowl and throw in the cucumber slices, the salt, and the sugar.

Let it sit for 5 minutes, then stir in the leeks (or onions) and vinegar.

Throw it in the fridge for ten minutes or more. Before serving, add the finely sliced herbs.
